What goes in must come out

Elephant automata
This elephant will eat for ever as long as you turn the handle - with the inevitable consequence.
This automaton is made from lime wood, beech, box, tiger wood and birch ply. Varnished with acrylics.
The axles are brass with nylon brushes for smooth running.
The rear side of the elephant can be removed to access the internal mechanism.
Height 28cms.
