New version with push button mechanism made from nylon and brass.
Base block is made of selected hardwood and the fish is carved from lime wood and painted with acrylics.
The mechanism is activated by simply pushing the button in causing the fish to flap.

Older all wooden version

Twist the handle and the fish flaps about. A simple but effective automaton and it is not immediately obvious how it works. Original all-wooden version (except for the magnets).
Fish carved from lime wood and available as natural wood or as a painted finish.
Length is 10cms. Other sizes are possible.
