A pair of lovebirds doing what lovebirds do.
This base and perch on this automaton are made from ash wood, carved into fluid shapes. The mechanism and birds are made from American cherry wood. All wood, brass and delrin parts are specially made in my workshop. Lovebirds are airbrush and hand painted with acrylics over a gesso base and all wooden parts are finished with acrylic lacquers.
